First Responder Annual Refresher Level 3 (VTQ)™
Online or Practical Classroom Training
The First Responder Annual Refresher Level 3 (VTQ)™ is designed for existing responders who have previously completed FPOS, FROS or other responder-level training and want to refresh their knowledge and practical skills as part of their continuing professional development (CPD).
Regular refresher training helps responders maintain competence and provides verifiable evidence of ongoing training. This may also be used as Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) evidence towards the three-yearly requalification requirements of relevant Level 3 or Level 4 responder courses.

Practical Classroom Training
For those who prefer hands-on learning, the course can also be completed as a practical classroom course with Vital Signs Scotland. This provides the opportunity to refresh and practise responder skills under instructor supervision in a practical training environment.
Our classroom training places particular emphasis on hands-on skills, realistic scenarios and real-world emergency response capability.
