Real-World Preparedness.

Accredited training, practical planning and realistic exercises for organisations across Scotland.

Practical Experience Behind Every Course

Vital Signs Scotland is an independent emergency preparedness and accredited training provider founded by Principal Instructor Frans Bedford-Visser. We help organisations across Scotland develop the practical skills, confidence and plans needed to respond effectively when emergencies occur.

Established in 2020 following Frans’s 20-year career in policing and wider emergency-response experience, our approach is practical, calm and grounded in real-world situations. Training is designed not simply to achieve certification, but to help people understand what they may genuinely need to do during the critical first minutes of an emergency.

We now support businesses, healthcare and dental teams, schools, charities, construction and engineering organisations, marine operators and other workplaces throughout Scotland.

Practical CPR Training

Advanced Training Equipment for Realistic Practice

Vital Signs Scotland uses advanced Practi-Man Plus CPR training manikins to give learners realistic, hands-on practice with immediate performance feedback. This helps learners correct their technique during training and develop confidence before facing a genuine emergency.

Real-Time Performance Feedback

Learners can monitor compression depth, rate, recoil and ventilation while practising CPR.

Adult and Child CPR Practice

Suitable manikins allow learners to practise age-appropriate CPR techniques in a safe and controlled environment.

Inclusive CPR Practice

Female-form and varied-skin-tone manikins help learners practise confidently and prepare to provide CPR to a wider range of casualties.

Confidence Through Repetition

Immediate feedback allows learners to adjust, repeat and improve their technique throughout the practical session.
