First Aid at Work
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with less than five employees and to the self-employed.
Dental Immediate Life Support (ILS)
The General Dental Council (GDC) and other professional Healthcare bodies require their members to carry out annual CPD Courses.
This course is designed to meet the requirements of ILS courses laid down by UK Resus Council guidelines and is certified by ProTrainings.
This CPD course meets the criteria for the GDC's development outcomes C.
Schools and Nurseries must be compliant with the HSE, Ofsted & EYFS requirements, requiring at least one full Paediatric First Aid qualified staff member at all times, including cover for sickness, holidays and trips.
A fully trained Paediatric First Aider can be supported by one Emergency Paediatric First Aid trained staff member.

Food Safety & Hygiene Course – Essential Training for Catering, Hospitality, and Retail
This course provides essential knowledge for anyone handling food, covering hygiene principles, contamination risks, safe storage, and legal responsibilities.
Suitable for all staff levels, it helps ensure compliance with UK food safety regulations. Certification included. Delivered UK-wide.
Basic Life Support Course – Essential CPD for Healthcare and Dental Professionals
Learn life-saving skills with our Basic Life Support (BLS) training, covering CPR and the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course is a required CPD qualification for many healthcare and dental professionals across the UK.
Our classes are held in a modern, well-equipped training venue, or we can deliver the course at your workplace for added convenience.
Outdoor Pursuits
The Outdoor Pursuits 16-Hour First Aid course is aligned with the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL) Statement of Good Practice on Outdoor First Aid at Band 3.
The contents of this course will cover primary and secondary care and are adapted to the outdoor world, where the emergency services may be harder to access.
We also offer a 1-day course or other specific workplace courses that will meet your needs.
Safeguarding

Safeguarding is how we can protect children, young people and vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect by the actions, or lack of actions, of another person.
In order to safeguard and protect persons from abuse or neglect we need to learn how to identify vulnerable individuals, taking necessary steps to stop abuse and neglect.
Two levels of course are available.
Sports First Aid
Sports First Aid is aimed at anyone who requires a course in sports first aid. The certificate is valid for 3 years and the full classroom option will consist of 7 hours of face-to-face training.
This course covers basic first aid and is aimed at people who need first aid who work in various sports sectors. It not only covers basic first aid but also all the specific problems that arise in sports. Primary and secondary subjects are covered, including soft tissue injuries, head injuries, types of cuts, and many illnesses that could arise.
Fire Safety at Work
These courses are aimed at anyone who requires a course in fire safety. It is designed to meet and comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
It covers regulations, the fire triangle, evacuation, fire equipment, good house-keeping, the law, training requirements, calling the fire service, fire doors, smoke alarms, risk assessing and precautions.
We offer both Level 1 Awareness and Level 2 Fire Safety courses for Fire Wardens.
Moving & Handling
Moving and Handling: What the Law Says
Before 2002, the Manual Handling Operations Regulations did not set specific weight limits for lifting or carrying loads. However, changes introduced in 2002 now require employees to have adequate knowledge or training to assess whether a load can be moved safely.
These regulations apply to nearly all workplaces, including offices, care homes, factories, and more. Employers have a legal duty to ensure staff are trained to handle loads safely and reduce the risk of injury.
Equestrian First Aid
Equestrian First Aid Course Overview
This course is designed for those working with horses who need a First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification alongside specific training for equestrian-related injuries.
If you teach riding or run activities, you must hold a BHS first aid certificate or an HSE First Aid at Work qualification.
This course covers FAW plus the extra subjects needed in the equestrian world. Our ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications.
