Major Incident Trauma Level 3 (VTQ)™
The Major Incident Trauma Level 3 (VTQ)™ course provides specialist training for people who may need to respond to serious trauma, multiple casualties or major incidents before professional emergency medical assistance is available.
Going beyond standard workplace first aid, the course develops the knowledge, practical skills and confidence required to recognise and manage life-threatening traumatic injuries and to prioritise casualty care in challenging, time-critical situations.
Practical, scenario-based training gives learners the opportunity to develop a structured approach to trauma management and practise responding effectively when the nature or scale of an incident requires rapid assessment, decision-making and intervention.
Who is this course suitable for?
The qualification may be particularly relevant to:
- First responders and workplace response teams
- Event and security personnel
