First Aid Responder Level 3 (VTQ)™

The First Aid Responder Level 3 (VTQ)™ course provides advanced first aid training for people who may be required to respond to medical emergencies and provide a higher level of immediate care before further medical assistance is available.

Going beyond standard workplace first aid, the course develops a broader understanding of casualty assessment, emergency care and the management of a range of injuries and medical conditions. Practical, scenario-based training helps learners develop the skills, confidence and decision-making required to respond effectively in more demanding emergency situations.

Delivered by Vital Signs Scotland as part of our Specialist Emergency Response Training provision, this course is suitable for individuals and organisations seeking a more advanced level of out-of-hospital first aid training.

This course is available through a blended-learning pathway, combining online theory with instructor-led practical training and assessment.
