Practical, one-day Emergency First Aid at Work training leading to an SCQF Level 6 qualification for workplace first aiders in Scotland.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) SCQF Level 6 course provides learners with the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to respond effectively to a workplace first aid emergency.

Delivered over one day, the course is designed for employees who are, or are preparing to become, Emergency First Aiders in the workplace. It is particularly appropriate where an employer's first aid needs assessment identifies Emergency First Aid at Work as the appropriate level of training.

Training is delivered in accordance with the Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) 2025 Guidelines and current workplace first aid requirements, with a strong emphasis on practical competence and confident emergency response.

This qualification is suitable for employees who may be required to provide immediate first aid following an accident, injury or sudden illness at work.

It is particularly suitable for organisations seeking a Scottish regulated Emergency First Aid at Work qualification at SCQF Level 6.

Course duration
