This 1-day HSE-compliant course equips staff to respond confidently to workplace emergencies. The course provides learners with the practical skills and confidence to respond effectively to life-threatening emergencies, injuries and sudden illness in the workplace.
What You Will Learn
Learners will be able to:
Assess an emergency situation safely
Provide CPR and use an AED
Manage an unresponsive casualty
Treat severe bleeding and shock
Respond to choking
Manage minor injuries and workplace incidents
On successful completion, learners will be qualified to provide emergency first aid in an occupational setting until professional help arrives.
