Course Aim
This course prepares healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality CPR, airway management, and safe defibrillation, enabling your team to:
- Manage a patient in cardiac arrest until advanced help arrives
- Recognise and respond to the deteriorating patient using the ABCDE approach
- Perform effectively as part of a resuscitation team
- Demonstrate leadership, communication, and teamwork in high-pressure situations
What Your Team Will Learn
Through a structured blend of theory and practical training, participants will develop the ability to:
- Identify causes and early warning signs of cardiopulmonary arrest
- Deliver effective CPR for adults and children
- Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) safely and confidently
- Apply airway management techniques, including adjuncts
- Participate in realistic resuscitation scenarios as both team leader and team member
- Implement infection prevention measures during resuscitation
