Evacuation Chair and Mat Training

Practical evacuation chair and mat training helps staff develop the skills and confidence to assist people who may be unable to use stairs safely during an emergency evacuation.

Our Evacuation Chair/Mat Level 2 (VTQ)™ training is delivered in-house at your premises, using your organisation's own evacuation equipment. This allows participants to practise with the equipment they may actually be required to use and within their own workplace environment.

Training is particularly suitable for hotels, care homes, supported accommodation, high-rise residential buildings, offices, educational establishments and other multi-storey premises where evacuation equipment forms part of the organisation's emergency arrangements.

The course combines essential safety considerations with practical, hands-on training to help staff use evacuation chairs and mats safely and confidently.

In-house group training is available for up to 12 candidates.
