Course Description

The FAA Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) is an advanced regulated qualification designed for those with greater responsibility for supporting and supervising mental health and wellbeing within the workplace.

Delivered as a two-day on-site course, the qualification provides an in-depth understanding of a wide range of mental health conditions, their signs and symptoms, and the professional support that may be available.

The course incorporates the content covered within the Level 1 and Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health qualifications and develops this further for those operating at supervisory, managerial, trainer or assessor level.

The specification confirms the 12-hour minimum, minimum age of 16 and assessment requirement.

To support effective learning, discussion and assessment, Vital Signs Scotland limits this course to a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 learners.

Group Pricing

£1,195 – On-Site Group Course for up to 4 learners

Additional learners can be added at £75 per person, up to a maximum group size of 6 learners.

The course fee includes learner manuals, assessment and e-certification.

If booking for more than 4 learners, you will receive a separate invoice for the additional places. Alternatively, contact us at bookings@vitalsignsscotland.co.uk to arrange your booking.

Learners must successfully complete the required assessment to achieve the qualification. The qualification is valid for three years, with annual refresher training strongly recommended. The full qualification must be completed again to requalify for a further three years.
